Weird Behavior Cat Mid Life Crisis

Did the vet do a full blood panel or just test for something specific? I'll be 11 in April and get a full blood check done every six months... no mid-life crisis here at all. Has anything changed at home recently? Cats, especially us older guys don't take well to changes...

sounds like speedy! he hates closed doors, he will go scratch at the front door, wanting out on the screened porch, when we are there in the living room!!! it drives us nuts! he will also do that on other doors, but has stopped doing it as much since we got trixie. i think stuart was sick for longer than we realized, because speedy had mellowed out, then started back up once stuart died. he also used to hump stuart, LOL, but he did that to our old cat, sid, years ago. i just think he's a man's man, haha. (although i DID hear him making those, "i wanna hump you" meows to trixie the other night, so you never know? ;o) really, if your cat is pretty easy going, another buddy might really help! maybe you could take on a kitten as a foster, at first, and if it works out, then adopt it? might occupy his time with a kitten to pester him, it did speedy! anyways, i know how you feel, my cat is strange too. ;o)
