Kudos to Pet Supplies Plus

Rachael on Nutrition - Sat, March 29 2008

Recently, we started shopping for dog food at Pet Supplies Plus due to its great selection and prices. So far, we have been completely pleased with our experience. Today, however, topped the cake, and I don't think we'll be shopping anywhere else for a while.

We had a coupon for Nature's Variety Instinct (buy one get one free of the 4.4 lb bag). We also decided to get the 25 pound bag, so we don't have to go back for another month. Well, the large bag had a coupon for one free pound of the NV raw food. The raw was out of stock, so they substituted it with 2.5 pounds of Steve's Real Food Turducken. That, alone was great of them.

During the checkout, my mom asked how much money we had spent (you get $5 off after you spend $200). Turns out, our account hadn't been registering. The manager went ahead and gave us another $5 off! So, overall, we spent $53 on 32 pounds of dry, 2.5 pounds of raw, and a 25 count rawhide stick pack.

Because of this, I highly recommend that everyone check out Pet Supplies Plus. I can't believe how kind and accommodating the whole staff was.

Also, as an aside, Wiggles has put on 2 pounds since going on his high calorie, see-food diet!

That's cool!! That's where I get most all of my pet supplies. I love that place. Good to hear Wiggles lost 2 pounds!

We buy all of our food from Pet Supplies Plus. The staff is always helpful and friendly (including getting 40 pound bags of food from the bottom of a large stack near the cealing). There is one near Broad Ripple on Broad Ripple Avenue near Keystone. I don't have the addresses for the others, but know there is one on the west side and the south side of town.

The west side one located at the intersection of Rockville and Girls School Rd (NE corner).

There is also one located on the Southside (where I shop). It's at the intersection of Emerson and County Line, near the Krogers. It has the best selection of food that I know of. I had a field day the first time I went. I saw all of these foods that I wanted to try, but didn't know were sold anywhere around here.

I wish there was one up in Carmel. I'll have to check out the one one on Broad Ripple Avenue.

Connie, there is one in Noblesville. I'm not sure how close that would be to you, but you can find the address at http://www.pspindy.com

Rachel, THANKS. I kept meaning to check a website and see where they were all located as everyone here raves about it and really that one in Noblesville isn't a bad drive. I may take Amy with me tomorrow and check it out.

Me too, Connie. I think one would flourish up here. I go for convenience and there just isn't one close enough for me. I have been to the one in Noblesville while fostering for HCUS. They were so helpful.

We always shop at Pet supplies plus in Broadripple...it's the closest one too us....If only they'd put one in the Anson Project or in the new strip in lebanon, I wouldn't have to drive 30 minutes to get dog food :)

That is great customer service, something that is sadly lacking these days.
