ARPO Olympics Saturday

We went last year and had a great time. Mom said we will go this Saturday as long as if it doesn't rain.

Ah man, I can't go. Mom is going to be out of town celebrating her godson's 1st birthday. maybe next year....

There are so many activities going on this Saturday! I can't be at the ARPO event, but we went last year and had a ball. It is one of their major fundraisers, so please go if you can. People may be able to attend that, the Pawsitive Partners agility fun day, AND one of the protests if they plan their time well. Or 2 out of 3. Or 1 out of 3. Just go somewhere with your dog(s) and have a good time supporting a cause!

I am torn between Pawsitive Partners/Protest or Olympics/Protest, but I don't think I can do all three.

Mom says she can't commit to much right now. She's fighting a nasty bug (I've searched for it, but can't find it. I'd be happy to kill it for her). With the bug, her asthma, and the forcast, she's a bit leary of promising anything held outside right now. Bet I could win most barky at the Olympics!

Mom said I would give them a run for their money at the barking contest. Mom was going to volunteer, but she isn't going to now. These college courses have had her busy all week so far and Father's Day is Sunday. She's got family stuff this weekend. She felt bad about backing out, but mom's about to have a breakdown (especially after we got the tax bill), and she just needs a break.

My mama's not vounteering either. This is our annual "day out", just us and mama, well maybe Aunt Marcia, too. She thought about entering me in the "find the bone" contest. Why can't they have a "find the ball" contest? I would sooooo win that, well, I would win that if Ojo doesn't show up. Hee Hee Mama's friends said we should enter the pie eating contest because mama loves sweets, but I doubt she'll want to get her face all "piey". I'm up for it, though.

I just heard Mom tell Dad that she might take me to this event for a break from Roo! Ohh.. I so hope so! Yogi, if that have that find the ball contest, You're ON!

Really why are there no cat events. Sniff I am just like a dog after all, I fetch and totally love people......

Poop. Mom said that we're not going because my grandparents who don't even like us...are coming. They'd faint it we made them go to a pet event. Hmmmm.....

Kirby, I was just thinking that may be a wonderful way to spend some family together time!! ;)
