Finally Mom did something right

I was pretty mad last night when yet ANOTHER dog showed up at our house. This one has been here before, but only when it was tiny. It belongs to the almost grown human child. Said child was going on vacation and somehow we volunteered to keep his dog!

What are we a freakin' kennel?

I barked and barked. I told Lexie to bark too.

But, today, Mom said I could go outside and meet Esmerelda and once I sniffed her, I remembered we played together a few times. So, we took off across the yard. Boy, does this dog know how to play and she is just the right size for me. Plus, she said right away that I was top dog, so that made me happy. Lexie isn't sure I'm top dog, plus she is bigger than me.

Too bad this one will only be here a week. She is SO much fun to chase.

I keep telling mom that is she must bring something home, make sure it will play with me. I love to play, but it has to be just the right dog. I won't play with just any old dog!

I only weigh fifteen pounds. Am I just the right size, too? I promise I'll let you be top dog. :) Mom says no more big dogs until I am fully recovered from my bullying episode though.

Wow Madison, I'm bigger than you. I weigh 38 pounds. But, I would like you because I love to play with smaller dogs. Big dogs make me nervous.

Charlie, I have to confess. I am scared of large black dogs. I got jumped by one and ever since then I give larger black dogs a wide berth. But, mom says you are not that kind of dog, so I might sniff you and give you a try.

Batman....this is a fat joke....but I thought you look bigger than that in your pictures.....dont go changing them though...Mom says its just my eyes. I guess we cant play because I weigh 66 lbs......but I let everyone be top dog....even Grammas 5 lb Yorkie!

Hey Batman....I would love to play....I love to run and have the other dogs chase me. I can run really really fast too...it makes grammy laugh.

But at the beach last week, i played with a 10 week old lab puppy and let her work me over - she's just a little thing, you know! i only snipped at her once when those sharp puppy teeth bit my lip too hard - she's gotta learn!!

I'll get in on that dogpile! Unfortunately I weigh about 130 lbs but I'd love to take on anybody who can wrestle. I'm usually very submissive so I don't get too rough.
