Duece, work is great. I have gotten tons of treats and lots and lots of people have been loving on me. I don't know what mom complains about. This is fun.
Uh--Batman, I'm thinking your mama is doing all the work and you're getting all the treats. Trust me, if you had to do all the working, you might not been so keen on going.
Mom and I went to work today, but we got sent home from school. She thought she could ask for forgiveness instead of permission, especially since I'm a certified therapy dog who used to go there every day, PLUS her patients all wanted to see my famous self. WRONG. I was being very good and quiet in mom's office, but some tighta$$ manager who isn't even her boss said I had to go. So she said, "I guess I'll be going, too." The crazy thing was that mom's boss doesn't even care if I am there or not. SIGH. So I got to be there for a little while, then we went to PetSmart to get me a new blue ball for being so good on Tuesday, and we went to some garage sales. It was a pretty good day.
Madeline, wow, that is so sad. We have to "fly under the radar" mom says. Mom's boss is not an animal person. He says I'm ok because I'm well behaved, but he says if I come, then everyone will want to bring a dog. So, I don't go to work as often as I would like to.
We only worked half a day. I took two walk breaks. Mom helped me type some on IndyPaws too. I got SO many cookies today. I wish I could go to work every day. mom taught me the word "office" so that I know it's time to go to her office. People at work think that is WAY cute that I know which office is Mom's. But, that isn't hard, it smells just like her.
I went once with mom. She was going to take me today but her big boss was supposed to be there and she was supposed to have a meeting with him. didn't happen so I could have gone after all. Maybe I'll make her take me shopping.
That fool obviously is jealous of your fame and good looks, Maddie! I can't think of any other reason he wouldn't want you there. Your presence could only improve the place and brighten the patients' day.
