they had some kind of spa day and so much of it went to HSI.

now see, animals getting facials would be a great fund raiser because it would be so funny! People would pay for that!

I truly did think the animals would get facials. I mean, do I need a long holiday weekend or what? Now that I read back on this, I can't stop laughing at myself! :-)

I've had so many of those days! Happened just the other day. My husband was explaining the "rule of thumb" and it's origins. He kept saying that the rule use to be that as long as the stick wasn't as big or bigger than your thumb, then you could hit people w/ it or something along those lines. We got into this huge fight cuz he swears he's right and I swear he's pulling my leg. So after about 30 minutes of this arguing I blurt out "Who's gonna hit someone w/ a stick that's the LENGTH of your thumb?!" He just busts up laughing, and says "Not length, width!" Totally had no clue! But felt like a HUGE idiot!

Way too funny. I've been hung up on similar stuff to the distress of my engineer SO.
