OMG post

Clay and Sarah on Behavior - Tue, July 08 2008

This is copied from craigslist... I really don't even have anything to say because this is so shocking. I suppose its a positive that they were honest... but 200 after that description... people really need more education before becoming pet owners. Perhaps I'm being overly judgemental, it just makes the person seem dumb.

8 month old pit bull with papers for a good home. great with kids but refuses to be house broken and chews on everything in sight. I have tried everything under the sun and i am finally fed up with it. A small rehoming and adoption fee of 200 dollars is needed. I do want him to have a good home, I have just lost all patience. I have had him since he was 3 months. will include crate

A "small" rehoming fee? $200 is a lot of money to me! I like the "refuses" to be housebroken. He just put his paw down and REFUSED! OMG! I honestly had to laugh at that. This is sad though because he's only 8 months old. He's still a puppy, of course he chews! You're right. People should better educate themselves so they know what to expect from a puppy. Just like children, they don't come trained. Beverly would probably still chew something up now and then, if I didn't crate her!

How generous of them to include the crate. :P

I would like to know what "everything under the sun" this person tried.

Thats dumb. Thats why you need to do research berfore you get a pet and never get a pet until you're ready..jeez! Those people are lazy. Dogs can't train themselves you know? Well sometimes but you know, lol.

I'm beginning to think NO ONE on Craigslist does their homework before getting a dog. :( This is worse than the post the other day that was asking for either a Yorkie or an English bulldog. I'm guessing they know little about either breed, considering they are extremely different and probably wouldn't both be suited for the same family.

It only took me a month to learn how to go pee outside.
