One of the guys working in the backyard left the gate open and I went out to explore. Boy! That was fun! Everyone was hollering, though. I don't know what the big deal is. I ran up and down, around the neighborhood, and then when I was ready I went right back home. They sure were tired when they got back. People sure do get excited about funny things, don't they?

I just don't get humans some times. You don't see us getting all upset whenever they escape.

I tried to trot down the sidewalk a few weeks ago but mom and dad caught up with me when I stopped to smell the neighbor's bushes. Not fair!

Yeah, no kidding. What's up with that? I mean, it's not like I wouldn't come back. It's just that I'd like to roam free for a minute. Oh, wait...Mom's telling me that I don't know enough about the dangers that are out there like cars, and animals that could eat a small dog like me. Hmmm...on second thought, I think I'll stick with Mom.
