If these are the same things as bison bones, Batman, be careful. They are very tasty, but they bite. One nearly bit my nose off last week. Those bison are big. My mom says she saw a Mama Bison almost kill the Alpha wolf at Wolf Park a few years ago because he was sniffing around her baby. He ran like a crazy wolf so her sharp hooves and horns wouldn't get him. You might want to make sure the rest of the bison isn't hanging around somewhere waiting to punish you for eating part of it.
They are in the refrigerator at Pet Supplies Plus. They have a variety of bison bone sizes, and they all cost the same amount. Unfortunately I want smaller ones for the girls, so I have to pay the same price, but they are still pretty reasonable.
We got ours at Canines in Action. I picked them up when I got my Bravo order. I don't think they stock them on a regular basis though.
Do a search on "indiana buffalo farm" give them a call. Our packing house, Knightstown packing, does buffalo and elk at times. Other packing houses or REAL" butchers would have some kind of bones at least beef or lamb. Kroger has "soup bones" too if you look for them. Just don't cook them! Raw is best. Chewing a real uncooked bone is as natural as breathing for a dog. Keeps their teeth clean and there for their breathe fresh to. As an added benifit to containing chewing behavior and trace minerals. Bones are a waste product in the butchering process and can be had pretty cheap. They freeze just fine. We get our bones frozen in the summer, nice and cool! Dad-the dog cookie guy, gets them and just and puts them in a ziplock freezer bag
