baby/pet gate question

Is there any kind of baby/pet gate that has a doggy door built into it? We are needed to lock the baby (11 months old) in our large open living room to keep an eye on him but I don't want to force Ms. Marzipan to be stuck in there as well. If there were a gate that kept baby in, but let doggy through it would be great. Does such a thing exist?

I saw that too. That's what was making me wonder about a gate like that too. :)

I agree with the others - couldn't the baby crawl thru too?

Drs Foster & Smith had some like this on their web site... but it's mostly for small pets / cats to get thru while keeping larger ones behind the gate (the small door shuts too): http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=18111

In our house we beagles just jump over the gate.

Cool idea but I'd be afraid the baby would just crawl out thru the doggy door. When we were at home depot, we did see a patio door with a built in dog door that was pretty cool.

Yup they make a gate like that. My dog cousins have one I think they got it at petsmart.
