boarding on the southside

Jennifer on Boarding - Mon, August 25 2008

Can anyone recommend a place to board my puppy on the southside on Indianapolis? I have to board my sweet Oliver (9 month old Chihuahua)for a couple of days in October and I am nervous about it. I've never had to do this before and I worried about finding someplace I can trust to take good care of him. I have started researching some places but I would love to hear about your experiences. Thanks!

i know people on this site have used sleepy hollow pet ranch and have good things to say about it. we use puppy playground for boarding because our dog loves dog day care and they do both. they are at 65th and binford. we also considered using a place called donna's (i forget the rest of the name). I think she is on the southside as well. I've heard good things about her place too.

The place we take nigel for day care (tl pets doggy day care) at st. clair and capitol downtown is opening up a small dog only room/boarding area. Chris is super great and we do our grocery shopping on the southside so I know it's not too far away.

We used Arbor Lane Kennel on Edgewood a couple of times when we were living on the Southside. It was a clean facility. I can't find that they have a website, though. The phone is 786-0773.

I've used Five Points Kennels which is on Five Points Road. It is family owned and they are great with my dogs.

I have heard of Sleepy Hollow and they are pretty close to us. Thanks for the info.
