This should be titled Beef Part Two I guess. Again, I was on CL this AM because I was going into work late. A girl had posted her "rare Imperial 4.5# Shih Tzu" for stud. CL does not allow selling of dogs(only re-homing with adoption fee)or stud services. So of course, she was flagged off rather quickly. Then she posts a rant about people flagging her off because they wanted to buy her dog and they were disappointed that they couldn't but she would sell them a puppy. Being the nice customer service person that I am, I thought I should tell her about the terms of use on CL and explain why her ad was flagged. So I emailed her and explained it and also explained that there is no such thing as a "rare, Imperial Shih Tzu". It is a term that BYBs use to make their runts seem more desirable and to charge more for them. I have looked into this before and it is 100% true. The size is below the recognized AKC weight range and even the American Shih Tzu club doesn't recognize them. Just trying to be helpful and informative, so I also sent her a link to www.learntobreed.com and explained that a good breeder would not be soliciting breeding bitches on CL.

Of course, I got a hateful reply from her. Obviously she thinks I am totally responsible for both of her ads being flagged off(it takes many flags to get them pulled). She sent me an email telling me how stupid I was and how she works in a vet office and knows all about Imperial Shih Tzus. She included her phone # if I wanted to debate it with her. She also mis-spelled many words while telling me how ignorant I am and how smart she is. She's also fostered for 3 years so she obviously knows everything. I can guarantee you that the rescue groups I work with wouldn't have someone associated with them that was a BYB. Now she's emailed me yet again with a link that "proves" there is such a thing. What a tool! I would email her back but it's not fair to engage in a war of wits with an unarmed person.
