Need to gain weight

Jettison on Nutrition - Fri, October 10 2008

My vet says i am underweight and i need to gain some weight. i don't like eating dry food that much (natural choice nutro). My parents have tried to mix it with the can food, vegetables, meat, chicken, and i eat well the first time but after that i just eat everything but the dry food. Can anybody help me identify some foods that i could eat to gain some weight?

You might want to ask the resident Gourmand and your fellow Rottie, Godzilla. His 'rents spoil him silly with pizza, cheeseburgers, sofas and other cool things I'm not allowed to eat. I've met him and he's one huge dude!

You might want to try Innova EVO red meat large bites. It has a very good rateing of 6 stars on dogfoodanalysis.com It's holistic, high calorie, high protein,no grain dog food. It's really good. They also have canned EVO dog food. However, our vet said that I need to loose weight so I'm on a diet of Innova reduced fat dog food. No more cheeseburgers, pizza and other tasty treats for me for awhile. :(

This is a great way to put weight on a dog! Not for constant feeding, just as a supplement, to add some pounds. :)

Thank you my parents are going to try this recipe and see if i put on some weight. I am a very picky eater, so i need something that keeps me interested in eating.
