I used to have one of those. OMG!! They are wonderful!! I love them on really cold Sunday mornings when you don't have to get out of bed at all and can just snuggle in and be comfy!

My parents gave me one as an early Christmas present this year... I've never been an electric blanket fan either but, I've had it a whole week and LOVE it! I can make the bed all nice and toasty before I get in.

I am a fan of the heated mattress pad too. I have had mine for a couple of years and LOVE it. It also lets me save some energy by turning down the heat in my house during the winter. Plus, is feels so cozy. I love to turn it on before I get in bed so that when I do, the bed is already warm and toasty!

I really like this thing too! Mom let me and Willow snuggle under the covers with her for a little while this morning while dad was getting ready for work. Ahhhh nice and toasty!

Hi Rhonda, I did try one of those pads but could not use it. The problem I have is with night sweats.
I'm okay with heat applied to a centralized location on just the small of my back, but if I get warm anywhere else, my body thermostat goes up too high and sweat just pours off me.

That's my husband's problem. He gets hot way too easily. So we have never tried one before. But the one he bought has dual controls so he doesn't have to have his on. I like it because we keep the house so cool and it keeps the bed nice and toasty. I'm sorry it didn't work for you:(

Happy same anniversary! Ours is Wednesday too-3 long years:-)I know we're both taking the day off but we'll probably end up cleaning or something goofy. Sounds like heaven. I was freezing last night because all the dogs were stealing the covers. Then I got up and sat in the recliner and was cold except for on my chest and left arm where the dogs were lying.

We have one, and I need to get it on the bed ASAP. I hate getting into a cold bed. Those things are the best, especially the dual controls!What a great husband you have!
