Aw, Perl, I'm so sorry you are having to go through all this. Hope you get back to good health soon. Sometimes those table scraps are worth it and sometimes they aren't.

Yuck.....the beagle is one of the breeds most likely to have this and it affects females more than males. This is not good news.

Perl, after reading about the "stones" for the second time, are you eating the S/D food? Your recovery isn't an easy one and it is going to be hard for you to change your diet/eating habits. Is Beau still getting table scraps?

It was very hard for Louise to go from having a full food bowl 24/7 to getting fed only 2 times a day. It was easier for Louise's foster mom to leave the food out for all of the dogs...less fights. Louise was chubby when she was adopted but now she is a beautiful 18 lb. beagle.

Perl, I'm so sorry. Now you have nothing to sneeze for... :(. We all hope you get better super fast.
