Best birthday present ever!

Perl on Behavior - Mon, February 01 2010

Daddy's birthday present was a bit late this year, but oh was it worth the wait! I got a raccoon of my very own to attack! Unfortunately, it scuttled to the back corner of the yard and got about two feet past the shock collar line. But don't you worry, I have plans! As soon as we can get rid of this useless cat (which was supposed to be here three days and is now at three weeks), I am going to recruit a coonhound. And Daddy is going to get his big boomsticks back from Grandpa's.

That's exciting Perl. Your very own Racoon!

Sounds cool...cats are useless. The squirrels were having some sort of meeting this weekend in their compound behind the house. G-Pa had the bi-noculars out spying on the proceedings. He counted 6 in various trees and according to his years of squirrel behavioral training...they were talking like crazy. He said when their tails are wagging...they are chatting. While he was doing recon, Mama let me out and one was in the front yard. It felt the presence of the Ninja force and high tailed it.

I think they are trying to split us up and weaken our resistance. Racoons to the North, Squirrels to the SouthWest. I await instructions on how to proceed. I can go get the crazy Peke if necesarry. They are across the pond so her seafaring skills may come in handy.---Colonel E.T. Basset

I think I'd rather have a squirrel than a raccoon. But hey...each to her own.

I thought their tails wagged because they are taunting me! Good to know.

It was bigger than me, and I go over 30 lbs! That means more fresh meat! Oh boy! My favorite!
