Sydney on My Blog - Tue, July 03 2007

I just got back from the low cost clinic in Noblesville. I won't say that it was completely painless, but they got the job done without me having a complete melt down. All my shots, my heartworm check, AND heartworm medicine were only $78, plus the people who work there thought I was very cute. The best part is that mom only took me, and not Maddie. I got to ride in the MINI Cooper in my crate, and she didn't get to go for a ride! WOO-HOO! She would have been plenty mad at me when we got home, but mom had some cheese ready for her, so for awhile she forgot about me being the favorite dog . I highly recommend the clinic. They were awesome! SYD

Sydney, I hear ya about the low cost clinic. We go to the one put on my Dr. Emch, who runs well pets clinics, and for the two of us, our shots cost $69 a piece, and that was with the three year rabies shot. My mama had checked on prices at a vet, and she was quoted $156 for just one dog.

Wow... $156 per dog?!! Good thing your mom took you somewhere else Yogi! That's crazy!! So far I've just had my puppy shots, I have had 2 sets, and have my appointment set up for the third. Grandma said she paid $200 for all 6 of the puppies to get checked out by the vet and get the first shots. I cost mom $48 for my second set of shots. But, she still loves me! Lol.
