I have a fenced yard, so mom used to not take us on walks. Then, she read she should be. As soon as she was trying to make a habit of walking us, this heat hit! She isn't walking us in this heat. She just lets us out for a few minutes to use the bathroom and then we come in. I hate it! I love to be outside. Me and mom both are ready for fall. That's mom's favorite season. Mine too, because mom is always in a good mood and bakes things!

I ditto all your thoughts Rory and Beverly. Mom doesn't have air in her car so I don't even get to go for rides. I never get to do anything besides potty and poo outside. Mom says I am not very heat tolerant and I have to come in *sniff, sniff*

I'm with ya on this one....mama makes me come right back inside after doing my "business"!!!! And there's vermin to chase and stuff. Hummmmph! I'm ready for some cool weather. Of course, it won't be as cool down here in Georgia, but I'm ready for it anyway. Momma has been taking us out about 5:30 AM....yep, before light to beat the heat....so I'm not gettin' near enough beauty sleep. C'mon winter!!!!

My mom says she can't wait until it gets cooler so that I can go outside and run and play. I have all this pent up energy and I am driving her nuts running around the house. Is there such a thing as an indoor dog park that maybe we could join?
