Some of my friends need places to stay while their parents are out of town...but I've never been to a kennel and I don't know wh. . .
Owner: Erin
About Me: My mom picked me out and my dad purchased me from a breeder in Bedford, IN when I was about 9 weeks old. (I was mom's best Christmas present ever.) I grew up with Niobi, a snowshoe cat that mom and dad brought home a month before they got me. She and I are as thick as theives, and because we grew up together, I act a lot like a cat and she acts a lot like a dog. Mom has a real soft spot for animals, so I have A LOT of brothers and sisters. Mom was 21 when she brought me home, and I was a college dog for a while, but then she and dad graduated and dad went to work and mom went to law school. Law school is not as much fun as college, because mom isn't around as much as she used to be. That's why I go to daycare now. My babysitter comes to get me after mom leaves for school, and then I stay at his house with Oliver (another mini schnauzer) until mom comes to pick me up. I also don't like law school because that means that mom and dad can't live together right now. Dad is a band director in Indianapolis, and I live with mom in Bloomington...so we normally only see dad on weekends. Otherwise, I pretty much live the good life, and everyone says I'm spoiled.
Nicknames: Creepy, CrazyPants, PsychoPants, WiggleButt, StinkerBear, Foxy, Flip Flop Fox Anonymous
My Motto: Oh oh oh, That's my favorite!!
Likes: Playing Frisbee (I can jump really high), Toys that make noise, sleeping under the covers with my own pillow, visits from my dad, going to daycare, getting picked up from daycare, barking at things from my balcony, and playing with my sister Niobi
Pet-peeves: Taking my heartworm pill, getting my teeth flossed (I have a gap in my front teeth that mom has to floss everyday), those horrible steal tables at the vet, people who don't like dogs, and thunderstorms (they're scary)
Best Tricks: The lengths to which I will go to catch a frisbee (it's pretty impressive and often draws a crowd), hiding under the bed and under the couches (it is quite a squeeze), my ability to completely murder any toy within minutes of being presented with it
Favorite Activities: One of my favorite ongoing hobbies is collecting. I have a special hiding place under Niobi's cat tree where I put my special things. Normally I collect small things that smell like people I love. Sometimes Niobi helps me by knocking things down to where I can get them. I used to get in trouble for taking things, but I normally don't harm the things I collect, so mom and dad just laugh at me and take them away. Everything from keys and cards, to hairbrushes and soapdishes have been found in my special spot.
Favorite Food: Tomatoes, bananas, meat....anything edible.
Favorite Toy: Frisbee
Favorite Walk: My favorite walks are when mom and dad take me hiking and let me off the leash. I'll run ahead with dad and try to scare mom (I normally give us away) and mom will take me to more interesting parts of trails where I can get messy. I'm really good at climbing things. Last year, I climbed a 12 foot high rock that was very smooth and almost completely vertical...so now mom and dad like to find obstacles and see if I can climb them.
