Bogart - Dachshund

About Me: Hi there! My name is Bogart Napoleon Bosse Holden. I am almost 3 yrs old, a AKC registered doxie boy and I live in Irvington (on the eastside of Indianapolis). I was rescued from Dachshund Rescue of North America in May 2005 and placed with the best parents ever, Anne and Justin! I was the only kid until my beagle sister, Lucy came along in February 2006. She was abused and dumped by some really bad people in Lafayette. My great-uncle Tom found her and called my grandparents and parents to help. She was too cute for words and we played all day together the first day she arrived. She is a small-sized beagle and accomodates me and my short stature when we play. She was my soul sister and my parents thankfully kept her. We have been playing ever since. I am looking for other great friends, big and small, to romp around with. I play very well with others and have what my mom calls "little dog syndrome". Whatever! My middle name is Napoleon for a reason, they keep saying! I keep in contact with my foster mom Kim and friend Chris and look forward to weekend drives to Lafayette to see other family members like the uncle Tom, the grandparents and big person bro Roy and doggie cousin Marley (8 yr old border collie golden mix). I also have 4 other doggie cousins here in Indy. Ivy, Annie and Harley; all bassetts from Guardian Angel Bassett Rescue and Ellie, the super mutt! I love to visit them and the other set of grandparents for weekend romps and birthdays. Look me up when you are on the eastside!

Likes: Lucy, long walks to Ellenburger Park, chasing squirrels, chasing birds, wrestling Lucy, lap naps, chicken treats or anything from 3Dog Bakery, baths, high fashion, did I say naps, sleeping in the big bed with mom and dad, helping out other fellow doxies

Pet-peeves: Lucy being tired, squirrels I cannot reach, the sprinkler, mom and dad leaving for work

Favorite Activities: Napping, kissing, destroying new toys that enter MY house, walking, going to 3Dog, car rides, chasing Lucy and loving my family to pieces!

Favorite Food: Milk, beer, Dottie Spots, grass (even when I am not sick..I am part cow)

Favorite Toy: Lucy and anything stuffed that I can destroy!

Favorite Walk: To Ellenburger Park and dad letting us run with him to tree squirrels. We cannot be trusted unleashed. Our noses take control!
