Lily Ann - Golden Retriever

About Me: Well, I was adopted from a great family on December 6, 2003. It was a little hard to leave my Golden Mom & my 10 sisters, but, my new "mom" loved me so much & promised to make me happy. She had recently lost a little dog from what I've been told just 2 days after I was born. I have heard that she was a really neat mixed breed, but she got real sick & had a stroke. She had to have her put to sleep so that she wouldn't suffer. My older sister, Grace was really lonely without her too. When I got to my new home, it was a real fun. I love my new family & they love me too. I got to see my Golden Mom & 8 of my siblings for my 1st birthday (the family that owns my Golden parents had a birthday party for us). It was great to see them again. I am getting ready to see about becoming a Therapy dog...not sure if I can meet the requirements as I can sometimes be stubborn, but it's worth a try.

Likes: Loves to go for rides, long walks & anything with water. Stealing food from the kitchen counter...especially loaves of bread!

Pet-peeves: I really dislike it when Mom has to put medicine in my ears & when she has to wash them. Other than that, I'm not too picky. I don't like it when Mom tells me that I have had enough treats. I'm supposed to be on a diet because the vet says I'm a little

Best Tricks: Jumping in circles

Favorite Activities: Playing with my mom on the floor & wrestling with Gracie & Gizmo.

Favorite Food: ANYTHING

Favorite Toy: a stuffed golden retriever dog

Favorite Walk: Any walk is great, but would be better if I could just run free sometimes. Mom won't let me do that because she is afraid that I might get hit by a car.
