Jasper - GSD/Lab mix

About Me: jasper was a stray pup we found when we lived in brown county. we saved him from being hit on hwy 46, picked off all the ticks, vettet him, and he was ours. he traveled into indy with us daily, and we also did a lot of obedience work with him at indy k9 kollege. he is the most obedient and loyal dog i have ever owned. he is my heart dog. several years ago, jasper and i got into SAR, he was my "starter" dog. he did very well, but since he was not a pup, it was harder on him. we retired him last year when we got the bloodhound. jasper could not be happier, because now he can just be a dog. he loves his buddy, "Jersey Joe" and they hang out together all the time. if only his good manners would rub off on Joe!!

Likes: i love when people come to visit me!!! i like to lick them. that is all i want, to be with people. did i mention i love people??

Favorite Activities: taking walks, barking to alert when someone is here, chewing up ANY toy, pinning the bloodhound to the ground and acting like he's beating him up, meeting any people, he's the kind of dog that would show a burglar to the fine china! he loves playing ball, and also loves playing with his cat, Stuart. he likes to drag Stewie around by the head.

Favorite Food: ANYTHING!!! (but i sure love raw meat!)

Favorite Walk: anyplace!! parks, the golf course, the neighborhood. as long as he's with me, he is happy!
